Spatiotemporally controlled restoration of GAS6 signaling via mRNA therapy promotes scarless healing in preclinical models

An LNP–mRNA hydrogel delivering GAS6 restores GAS6 signaling, enhances macrophage efferocytosis, suppresses inflammatory fibroblasts, and markedly accelerates wound closure while reducing fibrotic scarring in murine, rabbit ear, and Bama minipig preclinical models; associated RNA-seq datasets were deposited in GEO.

Why it mattersLNP–GAS6 mRNA in a thermosensitive hydrogel reduced scarring in murine, rabbit, and minipig models.
