Cognitive toolkit detects early Alzheimer’s signs

Rutgers Health and Stanford researchers created a Mandarin-language cognitive test battery for older Chinese Americans and validated it in 208 participants across New Jersey, New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area; the tests were reliable over six months, correlated with English measures, and associated with a blood-based Alzheimer’s biomarker, with tablet/VR versions and Cantonese validation planned.
