Assessing Years of Life Gained by Good Dietary Choices
Researchers used UK Biobank data from 103,649 participants to compare five dietary patterns and mortality over a median 10.6-year follow-up. Top-quintile diet scores were associated with about 1.5–3.0 years longer life at age 45, with DRRD strongest for men and AMED for women, independent of genetic risk.
