A tunable autonomous RNA-fueled micro-engine
Researchers built a tunable, RNA-fueled DNA-origami engine that drives cyclic motion of a 500 nm particle. The system uses RNA DNA hybridization and RNase H cleavage to switch reversibly and can be sequence-addressed for programmable, self-resetting nanomechanical action.
