Researchers found age-related downregulation of IGF2BP3 impairs glutathione (GSH) metabolism in human adipose-derived stem cells (hASCs). Older hASCs showed increased senescence, poorer regenerative performance in mouse transplantation, and partial functional rescue with BCAA and glutamine supplementation.
